Karaoke Evening
This will be a fun event where TBN members (and guests) will have their own private Karaoke room at one of Toronto's best Karaoke venues. Below are some comments from regular visitors.
“Hands down the best karaoke spot in Toronto! The song choices are endless, the tablet system is so easy to use, and the staff makes you feel like a VIP.” – Lisa M.
“Perfect for parties! The private rooms are spacious, the sound system is top-notch, and the energy is always electric.” – Jason K. “Love the atmosphere! The tablet app makes song selection a breeze, great drinks, great service, and so much fun. Can’t wait to come back!” – Emily R.

Bar + Karaoke Lounge has different size rooms for groups from 3 to 100 people. We will be in a room that accommodates 9 - 15 people. There is a flat rate of $70 an hour for that room (tax and tip not included). The cost per person will depend on the number of people who participate, so feel free to bring a guest.
The venue has a selection of snacks including chicken wings, nuggets and fries. There are also soft drinks, juice, tea, a fairly large selection of beer, cocktails and a reasonable wine list. View the menu and other information about the venue here.
This event is open to all TBN members and their guests.
Bar + Karaoke Lounge is conveniently located on Yonge Street between College and Dundas. It's a four-minute walk from TMU (Dundas) Station. View the venue on the map here.
Questions or concerns please contact Ken Lackman, Social Director, at social@tbn.ca.
HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!
TTC note: If you are planning on taking the TTC to the start please note that the Line 2 Bloor Danforth subway will be closed between Keele and St George stations for the entire weekend.
Urban cycling: The ride starts from the Playter Gdns parkette at Cambridge Ave and Danforth (east end of the viaduct) and about 100m west of Broadview TTC station. Street parking is available but hard to find in the area. A GreenP parking lot is at the back (east) of the Broadview TTC station.
This is a new (2026) shorter version of the ride that takes into account that early April weather might not be the best and many of us may be a bit out of shape. The route will provide riders with some experience of newer cycling city infrastructure, new views and new ways around town. The longer version will run in later summer when it's warmer and the farmers market at Humber Bay Park is open.
The ride will be at Urban Roller pace - for more details click here.

We are back in the wonderful Halton Hills! Enjoy the rolling Halton Hills as we cycle "romp" from Georgetown to Eden Mills, with lunch in Acton on the 58km route. Unfortunately, on the long 84km route, the former Dar's Delight Cafe in Moffat, where the lunch stop has been for many years, is not longer operating. Thus, there is no official lunch stop on this route and it is recommended you bring lunch, or pick something up in Campbellville or Acton. Another option is to ride an extra 3km (total of 6km there and back) from Moffat along 15 Sideroad to where there is a Country Style coffee shop and gas station.
Start: Stewarttown Middle School
Driving directions: Take the 401 West to Trafalgar Road (Exit 328), continue to 15th Sideroad and turn right at the lights. Stewarttown Middle School is right at the southeast corner of Trafalgar Rd. and 15th Sideroad. Park in the school parking lot.
Start time: 10:00am
Distances: 60km & 86km
