Caution note: there is a nasty left turn on both the medium (km 53.6) and long (km 86.6) routes. It's where you turn left off Appelby Line and cross over to Side Rd 2. The turn is on a bend and so there are visibility issues in both directions. Consider pulling over to the right side of the road and stopping so that you can look carefully in both directions before crossing over (the "Safer Left Turn").
A 61, 78, or 108 km ride from Campbellville past Waterdown, with lunch at the Lowville Golf Club (website). The Lowville Golf Club is on Britannia Road on the right, one driveway past Conservation Halton and 400 metres before the church at Guelph Line where we used to turn left to descend down into Lowville. The Club has sandwiches or full meals.
Meet for a 9 am departure at the Campbellville Lions Hall (map). To get to Campbellville, go west on Hwy 401 to the Guelph Line (Exit 312). Drive south over the 401 and continue on Main St. The entrance to the Lions Hall parking lot is just across the railway tracks. There is a Porta Potty on the other side of the tracks in Campbellville Conservation Area.
