You are invited to attend our monthly trivia nights at The Prenup Pub on the third or fourth Thursday of every month.

The Prenup Pub is one of the best pubs in the city. It’s a Belgian style pub with a wonderful atmosphere, great food, and extraordinary draft beer, all at reasonable prices. In fact, the atmosphere is actually free! The draft beer list consists of over 60 quality brews, of which most are European. The food menu is also extensive and also mostly European, with French, Belgian, Italian and German specialties. There are also quite a few vegetarian and vegan dishes.

The schedule for the evening is as follows:

• 6:30: Arrival and order food and/or drinks
• 7:00: Choose teams, team names and quiz categories.
• 7:15: Rounds one and two begin.
• 8:15: Scoring of first half and break
• 8:30: Rounds three and four begin.
• 9:30: Scoring of whole quiz and distribution of prizes to winning team

This will be an unusual pub quiz in that the participants will choose the categories before the quiz begins. Virtually any category is possible, including history, geography, 80s music, Soviet fashion, marine biology, supramolecular chemistry, and even cycling. The teams or four or five will brainstorm possible categories, and we all vote to determine the four most popular topics. Quiz questions in the four categories will be generated by AI.

The Prenup Pub is conveniently located at 191 College Street, just a five-minute walk west of Queen’s Park subway station. There also is street parking available, especially on McCaul Street. If there are more than 25 participants, we will be on the second floor of the pub. If there are fewer than 25, we will be on the main floor in the west room.
