President's Message

Cyclon 2026 once again showcased everything that makes TBN such a special community. From scenic roads and rewarding challenges to shared laughter and unforgettable moments, the weekend reminded us that the journey is always better when it's shared. A heartfelt thank you to our incredible volunteers, whose dedication, hard work and enthusiasm made every aspect of the event possible. Even Sunday's storm couldn't dampen our spirits—it simply became another story we'll be telling for years to come.

Italo Bravo, TBN President

Would you like to join the board of TBN?

This fall, several positions on the TBN Board of Directors will become vacant. While candidates are currently being considered for some of these roles, we are still actively looking for a Social Director and we welcome interest in other volunteer leadership positions as well.

TBN is entirely volunteer-run, and our rides, trips, social events, and programs are only possible because members step forward to help. As our club continues to grow, so does our need for volunteers and future leaders. If you enjoy what TBN has to offer, this is a great opportunity to give back, help shape the club's future, and ensure it continues to thrive for years to come.

If you'd like to get involved, we'd love to hear from you. Email info@tbn.ca and let us know where you'd like to help. New Board members will be announced at the AGM this November.

A description of all the club's volunteer positions can be found here.

That's a Wrap on Cyclon 2026

Cyclon 2026 was a huge success, with 160 TBN members in attendance. As always, this annual weekend getaway catered to cyclists of all levels. This was our first return to Brock University in St. Catharines in many years; the inaugural Cyclon was at Brock in 1987! This location provided a welcome opportunity for exploring the picturesque routes in and around the Niagara Region. A special thanks to the Cyclon committee and the dozens of TBN volunteers who made all of this possible. If you'd like to see a longer recap of the weekend and photos, see the Cyclon page here. Stay tuned for your Cyclon 2026 participant survey.
