NOTE THE WEATHER PREDICTION FOR SUNDAY IS RAIN ALL DAY AND STRONG GUSTY WINDS. THE WEATHER WILL BE COOL BUT SUNNY ON SATURDAY AND WE ARE GOING TO SCHEDULE THE HIKE FOR THEN. IF IT WAS 40% CHANCE OF RAIN WE WOULD TAKE OUR CHANCES BUT 90% MEANS IT IS GOING TO RAIN.
WE APOLOGIZE TO THOSE THAT CANNOT MAKE IT ON SATURDAY AND WE ALSO REALIZE THERE ARE PEOPLE STILL RIDING THAT DAY BUT IF WE DO NOT RESCHEDULE THE SUNDAY HIKE IT WILL PROBABLY BE CANCELLED

Note: Because of the large number of people on the waiting list we have decided to do 2 hikes. They will both be the same in all aspects except that we will divide the people registered into 2 groups starting 15 minutes apart.
Starting with the Terra Cotta side trail we will go west and cross over to the Silver Creek Conservation area using the Bruce Trail. The hike will include the Roberts and Irvin Quarry Trail. There will be lots of hills, roots and rocks to be negotiated so please make sure you wear suitable footwear
Distance: 13 km
Pace: 3.5 km/hr
Terrain: Moderate with some hills and/or poor footing
Driving Direction: Hwy 410 north - continue on Hwy 10 north. Turn left on King Street (9) and then right on Winston Churchill. Drive approximately 1 km to roadside parking when the Caledon Trailway intersects
