This CC is a joint ride (our second of the year) with the Sunday Tourist "B" Ride folks. The route takes us quickly into the countryside for two distant route options: 60km and 80km. The initial part of the ride heading to, and around, Lowville is somewhat hilly.
The lunch stop for the 60km route is at the Earl Pub at the Lowville Golf Club, with outdoor seating. Here is a menu that may or may not be current, but at least gives you an idea of what they might have. For the 80km route, you can either bring your own lunch and eat at the end of the route, and/or stop at the Earl Pub on the return leg.
Start: 9:00am North side of the Oakville Go Station 214 Cross Ave. Oakville, ON, L6J 2W4
Driving directions: Take QEW west to Trafalgar Road exit. Turn LEFT onto Trafalgar. At Cross Avenue turn RIGHT at the light. Two traffic lights further, turn LEFT into the parking lot and park near the old VIA rail station.
Distances: 60km & 80km.
