NOTE: Bloor Street will be closed this weekend for the Big on Bloor street festival between Dufferin and Lansdowne. If you are riding to the start you will find that generally you can ride through in the morning while they are doing setup for the booths and activities. The festival doesn't open until noon. Just take it slowly and you should be okay. If you are riding home afterwards there is a laneway to the north that parallels Bloor starting one block east of Lansdowne that will get you to Dufferin.
The ride starts from the parking lot at the Grenadier Restaurant in High Park (about 1km south of the Bloor St entrance). NOTE: Cars' access to the park is limited, so, if you drive to the start, allow time to arrive on schedule. The route weaves its way across town to the Beltway and down to the Brickworks and returns via the Lakeshore trail to High Park. About 45kms- should finish about 1 to1:30pm.
This is an Urban Roller level ride. If you are uncertain whether this level is appropriate to your riding level, click here.
