Let's celebrate another successful City Walk season with a walk followed by a lunch party in the party room of Carmelle's condo building, a 10 minute walk from the King subway station, at Sherbourne and Adelaide E. The walk will begin at King subway and we will walk to the condo building where you can drop off anything you don't want to carry. Carmelle will prepare chili--meat and vegetarian versions--and cornbread. Red and white wine will be on hand as well as sparkling water, pop, coffee, and tea.
This is not a potluck. However, a few volunteers will be recruited ( ) to bring side dishes. eg. salad, appetizers, dessert.
The cost is $10 which you will pay through e-transfer or cash. When you sign up you will be sent Carmelle's email for e-transfer. Alternatively, Carmelle can collect cash on a city walk. Payment will guarantee your spot. Maximum 22 people.
Meet at about 10:00 AM, at King Subway Station, outside the turnstiles, underground, on the level where the fare booth is located. The walk will start at 10:10.
When this entry was last updated, there was a scheduled subway outage on Line 1 (Yonge-University) from St Clair West to St Andrew stations for the full weekend (Saturday, March 21 to Sunday, March 22, 2026), but please check https://www.ttc.ca/service-advisories/subway-service#e=0 in case tere are any changes.
