Cedarena

If the weather holds, we will make a trek out to Cedarena in Markham. Cedarena is an old-fashioned outdoor ice rink nestled amongst cedar trees on the banks of the Rouge River in Markham, Ontario. It is operated by the Cedar Grove Community Club 86 consecutive years and open to the public for skating and ice rentals. There is a $5.00 admission, please note the different rink times, you might want to have dinner first, we will still have an apres.

Cedarena is located on Reesor Road, 1 km north of Steeles Avenue and 3 km south of Hwy #7. If coming from Steeles, go north under the overhead yellow flashing light. The entrance to the parking lot is on the east side of Reesor Road, directly opposite Rouge Valley Mennonite Church, but the sign says "Church on the Rock".

If the weather does not cooperate, City Hall (Nathan Phillips Square) will be the back up and it will be our regular times of 6:30 to 8:00 pm.
