FALL HIKING PROGRAM
Are you looking to participate in a vigorous outdoor activity after a great summer of cycling? Enjoy a social get together with fellow TBNers while maintaining your fitness level.
This year there will be 5-7 hikes with the format that was introduced in 2013:
A few tips: Please bring your hiking boots/shoes, a water bottle, lunch and a backpack. A hat is a good idea, as is rain gear. Layered clothing works best. Wear a couple of pairs of socks - a polypropylene pair (sock-liners) for wicking moisture away and a wool pair for warmth. It's a good idea to bring a second pair of shoes for the drive home (it will help keep the car clean).
If you don't have a ride to the meeting point, post a ridesharing request on our TBN bulletin board. Or look into the City Walks program as the City Walks meeting points are accessible by public transport.
