Sunday Urban Roller - High Park - Port Credit

Please note: You must register to participate on the ride. Registration is free for TBN members. Non-members are welcome with the online payment of a $10 fee. If you cannot attend, please cancel your reservation by Saturday. Attendance will be checked at the start. If you register after 8 am on the day of the ride bring a copy of the confirmation email, either printed or electronic, to show to the ride leader.

We are still under Covid-19 guidelines, so remember to bring and wear your mask in appropriate situations and maintain social distancing. Also, a helmet.

This is an Urban Roller level ride. If you are uncertain whether this level is appropriate to your riding level, click here. For a more nuanced description check this page.

TTC note:  If you are planning on using the TTC to get to the start please be aware that Line 2 Bloor Danforth subway between Woodbine and St George stations will not open until the afternoon. Shuttle buses will be operating instead. Some will have bike racks. Please allow extra time to get to the start.

The first ride of the year is a popular route from the Saturday Morning Rides that uses quieter streets and trails out to Port Credit and back. It's relatively flat except for the one hill back into High Park at the ride's end.

The Starbucks in Port Credit isn't really suitable for a lunch spot so instead we'll use the Tim Hortons on Lakeshore on the return route. The new map is linked below.

Meet for a 10 am departure from the Grenadier Cafe in the centre of High Park. The park is currently closed to cars on the weekend so if you are arriving by car you may need to park on the street nearby. Remember to allow extra time to get to the start point.

If a ride is cancelled due to weather or other circumstances a cancellation notice will be posted around 8 am on Sunday morning. Please check before leaving for the ride.
