This ride is relatively flat to Burlington, where we will stop at the Coffee Culture Cafe and Eatery (390 Brandt Street) long enough to fully recharge our mitochondria, then we ascend to the top of the Niagara escarpment and head back to Toronto north of Burlington and Oakville before arcing south to Pt Credit and the lakeshore.
For those wanting a shorter and less strenuous, you could return from Burlington along the lakeshore rather than above the escarpment (107 km). Another option (for those not driving to the starting point) would be to take the GO train from Pt Credit (km 110 of the regular route) to whatever station is most convenient.
Meet next to the Grenadier Restaurant. If you will be arriving by car and High Park is closed to vehicular traffic, you can park on Ellis Ave and meet the group at the NE corner of Ellis and Queensway shortly after the start time as we head west.
We are accepting "guest rider" registrations for this event. Guest registrations are $10 payable via PayPal.
If you have not registered for the ride, you may NOT join the ride.
