Wednesday Wheelie – Campbellville to Lowville

Due to the Pan Am Games, the start time will remain at 10 AM instead of the usual 9:30 start in July and August.

Note the new parking lot - it used to be the New Ball Park on Reid Sideroad, now it's the Campbellville Lions Hall on Main St.

A 61, 72, or 108 km ride from Campbellville past Waterdown, with lunch at the Lowville Golf Club (website). Meet for a 10 am departure at the Campbellville Lions Hall. Map

To get to Campbellville, go west on Hwy 401 to the Guelph Line (Exit 312). Drive south over the 401 and continue on Main St. The entrance to the Lions Hall parking lot is just across the railway tracks. There is a Porta Potty on the other side of the tracks in Campbellville Conservation AreaDriving directions

There is a difficult left turn on the Medium and Long rides from Appleby Line onto Side Rd 2. Suggest stopping on the right shoulder on Appleby, look and listen, then cross Appleby.

The Lowville Golf Club is on Britannia Road on the right, one driveway past CONSERVATION HALTON (400 metres before the church where we used to turn left onto Guelph Line to descend down into Lowville). The Club has sandwiches or full meals.

The Crawford Lake Indian Village is just off our route and contains a a 15th century reconstructed Iroquoian village.
