The Palgrave Forest and Wildlife Area (PFWA) is a green space located in Peel Region.  The property supports a diversity of primarily forest vegetation and is a popular recreation destination on the Oak Ridges Moraine.  We will be doing two loops with varying landscapes of forests, meadows, watercourses, wetlands and ponds.  It is possible that you will meet mountain bikers on these trails but my experience has been they are few and far between.

Distance:  12 km

RWGPS Route:  https://ridewithgps.com/routes/38612562

Pace:       Moderate (~3.5 km/hr)

Terrain:     Moderate - rocky with hills and/or poor footing.   Depending on the weather poles or icers may be needed.  This is a strenuous hike so please make sure your physical abilities are up to the demands of the hike.

Directions:   Parking as usual this year is at a premium.  We will be parking in a lot at the the start of the trail.  Please get there 15 minutes early in case there are complications.
