Caution note: shortly after the lunch stop there is a dangerous left turn. It's where you turn left off Appelby Line and cross over to Side Rd 2. The turn is on a bend and so there are visibility issues in both directions. Consider pulling over to the right side of the road and stopping so that you can look carefully in both directions before crossing over (the "Safer Left Turn").
A 67, 85, or 103 km ride from Hornby to Lowville. Lunch will be at the Lowville Golf Club on Britannia Rd just outside Lowville. The picture at the top of this page is an early picture of the Lowville United Church just down the road from our lunch stop. Click here for some interesting history of the church. Meet for a 9 am departure at Hornby Park. Facilities are available at the Tim Horton's/Petro Canada at the lights as you turn onto Steeles.
