Fall Hiking - Grindstone Creek - 10 km

A short(ish) drive west of Toronto, near Waterdown, we will hike beside the Grindstone Creek and along the Bruce Trail to the Great Falls (Grindstone Falls).  The terrain is rocky with some steep climbs and descents.  This is a loop hike (no car shuffling).

Distance:  10 km

Pace:  Moderate (~4 km/hr)

Terrain:  Moderate - hills and/or poor footing

Directions:  Take QEW west, exit to Highway 6N, take York Rd. exit towards Plains Rd., turn left onto Old York Rd. turn left on Snake Rd.  Continue north on Snake Rd. to the Grindstone Creek roadside parking area - where the Bruce Trail jogs across the road.  This is roadside parking.    Google map:  https://www.google.ca/maps/dir///@43.3173181,-79.8923518,20.75z?hl=en
