THE HILLS OF ERIN

This is a Tourist Level ride.

PLEASE NOTE:  All riders, including guest riders, must register to participate in this CC.  Please read registration details on the CC webpage

This is a beautiful CC to end another memorable cycling season, in which happily we were able to return to almost pre-pandemic normalcy riding in larger groups with our cycling buddies.   This route takes us to familiar territory - the rolling hills of Halton - but on different stretches of roads.  At this time of year, the colourful autumn foliage is often a gorgeous bonus to the ride. Lunch option is either in Rockwood or Erin.  (Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 restrictions, Thatcher's farm - the lunch stop in previous years - is closed on Sundays.)

Start: 10:00 am - Ballinafad Community Centre Ballinafad, Ontario

Driving Directions: Take Hwy 401 to Trafalgar Rd.  Go north on Trafalgar Rd. past the edge of Georgetown to Ballinafad.  Turn left onto Erin Halton Hills Townline Road in the centre of the village. The park / Community Centre is a short distance further on the right side (northwest corner).
