Meet at around 10:00 AM just outside the main entrance of Broadview Station. The walk will begin at 10:10 sharp.
We will walk in a loop of approximately 10 Km and return to the start. We will see a few interesting things along the way. There will be a coffee stop on Danforth, near the mid-point, although we may have to split up and go to different places, depending on how much seating is available and how many people there are on the walk. There will also be a lunch stop somewhere near the end of walk (Kalyvia Restaurant is one suggestion).
Snow is forecast, so we will walk on streets, as is some wind, so we will try to use the surrounding buildings for shelter. Please wear shoes or boots appropriate for the weather.
There are two washrooms, fairly close to the start and the finish. There is also a public washroom in the Bloor Station, which may be convenient for some who are using the subway to get to or from the walk.
There are currently no scheduled subway outages for this date, but please check https://www.ttc.ca/service-advisories/subway-service#e=0 in case there are any changes.
Points of interest and early exits along the way include:
- 0.0 Km – Broadview Station (start of walk)
- 1.7 Km – Withrow Park (washroom)
- 4.2 to 4.7 Km – Coffee stop on Danforth (Tim Hortons, Maple Cafe, Lumar Cafe, Ariam Cafe, Red Rocket, etc.)
- 4.5 Km – Greenwood Station (early exit to subway)
- 7.5 Km – East York Community Centre (washrooms)
- 10.1 Km – Broadview Station (end of walk)

If you have not registered for the walk, you may NOT join the walk.
If you have registered but can't attend, log in, click on "Already registered", then cancel.
If the walk is cancelled due to weather or other reasons, notice of the cancellation will be posted on the website around 8 am on the day of the walk. Please check before leaving for the walk.
REMINDER: A mask and hand sanitizer are recommended.
