Camping and Cycling Weekend
August 30 to September 2, 2013
Join us on the Labour Day long weekend for cycling in the Pelee area, located on the north shore of Lake Erie in the agricultural, fruit, vegetable, and wine region of Essex County. We will be camping for three nights at a beautiful group site at Wheatley Provincial Park, a 3.5 hr. drive from Toronto.

Registration The last day for registration is Friday, August 23. 2013. When you register, you will receive a confirmation email with an attachment providing an itinerary and some extra information.
Cost The trip registration fee includes 3 nights at a group campsite and a group dinner on Saturday.
- $40 per person for TBN members
- $45 per person for non-members
Additional Expenses There will be additional expenses for items that are not included in the trip registration fee. All campsite fees and Saturday night dinner are included in the registration fee. However vehicle registration fees are not included. You will be paying this when you enter the park. Here is a list of additional expenses:
- Wheatley Provincial Park vehicle registration fees: $3.96 per night per vehicle ($11.33 for three nights at the campsite)
- Admission to Point Pelee National Park on Saturday: $7.80, seniors (over 65): $6.80.
- Excursion to Pelee Island on Sunday: Total cost of a return trip with a bike: $22.50 (fare: $15 + $7.50 for bike)
Meals Saturday dinner is the only meal included in the trip registration fee. Suggestions will be given regarding where to eat or buy food for the other meals.
Saturday dinner The campsite dinner on Saturday will be a group effort. Although the food will be provided by the trip coordinator, everyone will be expected to participate in the preparation of the meal, set-up and clean-up. There will be a list of tasks from which to choose.
Sunday dinner A group dinner will be arranged at a local restaurant. The cost is not included in the trip registration fee.
Carpooling While we will not arrange carpooling, we will help in the process.
Cancellation Policy Cancellations made in writing are possible at the discretion of the trip coordinator until August 23, 2013 and are subject to a $4 cancellation fee. No refund will be made after August 23, 2013.
