Meet at 5:00 PM, Saturday evening, at Yonge and Lawrence (near Lawrence Subway Station) outside of Locke Library on the South East corner at 5 pm for a walk of about 11 km. We will walk through local neighbourhood streets specially selected for their beautiful Christmas light displays. There will be lots of opportunities to stop and take pictures along the way!
At around 7 Km we will take a break at Sunnybrook Hospital in their main entrance cafeteria (washrooms, Second Cup). After we will continue walking and enjoying the Christmas lights as we make our way to the end at Sorn Thai Restaurant (www.sornthai.com), the optional dinner stop. The restaurant is located at Yonge Street and Briar Hill Avenue about 500 metres North of Eglinton Station.
There are some streets on this walk without sidewalks so please wear something that will make you easily visible to drivers and walk facing traffic. This will be in the evening after dark so warmer clothes will be necessary and you may want to wear winter boots if there is snow on the ground. Season’s Greetings Everyone!

Non-members are welcome. They will be asked to sign the waiver form and will be charged the $5 non-member fee, either on-line in advance (Register here) or via paper form at the walk start.
