Wednesday Wheelie - Brampton Fall Fair to Forks of the Credit

A 59, 82 or 112 km ride starting from the fairgrounds of the Brampton Fall Fair. All the routes go first up into the Caledon Hills.

• The short and medium routes next turn west and go through the Forks of the Credit, and then continue on past the Cheltenham Badlands (see picture above). 
• The long route is a new route that goes up into and around Hockley Valley, around Orangeville, back south, and then west through the Forks of the Credit and past the Badlands.

Lunch will be at The Village Store in Belfountain. The long route may also wish to stop at the Hockley Valley General Store. Meet for a 10 am departure from the fairgrounds at the corner of Heart Lake Rd and Old School Rd.  Map

To get to the fairgrounds, take Hwy 410 to the Mayfield Rd exit. Then follow Mayfield Rd/Peel Regional Rd 14 and Heart Lake Rd.  Driving directions

Detour: the bridge on McLaren Road was torn down earlier in the summer. Thus, instead of turning left onto the Grange Side Rd at (km 29.4 on the short route and km 52.6 on the medium route), just continue straight on McLaughlin Rd to the Forks of the Credit Rd and then turn left. The detour is signed as "Detour 1".
