Meet at about 10:00 AM in the Great Hall of Union Station (not the subway station, but the train station). We usually are near the benches around the north-west corner of the hall but may be somewhere else nearby if there is construction work, etc. Just look for a group of people standing around. We will begin the walk at 10:10 sharp.
We will walk in two loops, the first approximately 7 Km and the second approximately 3 Km, returning to the start (Union Station) each time. On the first loop we will walk along Wellington St and visit the Beltway under the Gardiner Expressway and on the second loop we will visit Harbourfront. The walk will be entirely on city streets, so please wear shoes or boots appropriate for the weather.
There are several parking lots within about 1 Km of the start of the walk with flat rates of about $12 to $17, but the best choice may be to use the subway.
No scheduled subway outages have been posted yet, but please check Subway service (ttc.ca) in case there are any changes.
Points of interest (more to be added later) and early exits along the way include:
- 0.0 Km – Union Station (start of walk, bathrooms)
- 3.3 Km – The Bentway (point of interest)
- 4.2 Km – Canoe Landing Park (point of interest)
- 6.7 Km – Union Station (early exit to subway. bathrooms)
- 7.7 Km – Harbourfront
- 10.1 Km – Union Station (end of walk, bathrooms, access to subway)

If you have not registered for the walk, you may NOT join the walk.
If you have registered but can't attend, log in, click on "Already registered", then cancel.
REMINDER: A mask and hand sanitizer are recommended.
