Trip Presentation
Veloroute Gourmande
TBN member Dona Cottle will share her experience with Veloroute Gourmande Bike Trip which she did this summer. Veloroute Gourmande is a cycle path that connects Montreal and Sherbrooke. It is approximately 235km through the picturesque Quebec countryside that can be done over 4 or 5 days. The mostly car- free route is relatively flat, passing by many lakes and hills with opportunities to stop along the way and enjoy some gourmet attractions.
The event is free and open to all TBN members and their guests. The event takes place at The Northern District Public Library, which is conveniently located a three-minute walk north of the Eglinton Subway station. You can find free parking on the small streets west and north of the library. Please read parking signs before parking.
The presentation will take up 1 hour including a short Q and A, but participants are welcome to continue discussion afterward at the Duke of Kent Pub, which is across the road from the library.
