TTC note:  As has been the case on multiple Sundays this year, subway service on Line 2 Bloor Danforth between Broadview and St George stations won't start until 10 am. Shuttle buses (most with bike racks) will be running instead. Leave extra time to get to the start at Finch.

NOTE:  The route was revised last year to avoid the section of Teston Road between Pine Valley and Weston Road that was completely closed for reconstruction. A preliminary check of the route shows that while Teston is now open for car traffic, it is nowhere near finished or safe for bike travel. As a result we will be repeating last year's route. The good news is that the work on Major MacKenzie is completed and now includes separated bike infrastructure.

Come for a good Advanced Urban Roller style workout with a few more hills. This is a longer version of the popular Maple ride that goes an additional 30 km out into the countryside and visits charming Kleinburg. We'll stop briefly in Kleinburg for coffee/snacks or to see the sights, then hop back on the bikes to get to lunch at Tim Hortons/Wendys.

There are some hills on this ride, but for the most part they are short, and the coffee stop in Kleinburg is right after the steep one so you can get a chance to recover if you need it. The hills are done with by the time we cross back over the 400 on the way to lunch.

Meet for a 10:00 am departure at the Finch Subway parking lot, NW corner of Yonge and Hendon Ave, one block north of Finch.

Please print a copy of the cue sheet provided from the link listed below.

If the ride is cancelled due to weather or other reasons, notice of the cancellation will be posted on the website around 8 am Sunday. Please check before leaving for the ride.

The Ride with GPS map for the route is linked below, as well as a simplified cue sheet. The linked cue sheet has been optimised for Sunday Urban Rollers.

See you Sunday
