Sunday Urban Roller - Kleinburg
Please note: You must register to participate on the ride. Registration is free for TBN members. Non-members are welcome with the online payment of a $10 fee. We are still under Covid-19 guidelines, so remember to bring and wear your mask in appropriate situations and maintain social distancing. Also, a helmet.

NOTE: The route was revised last year to avoid the section of Teston Road between Pine Valley and Weston Road that was completely closed for reconstruction. If construction has been completed we will return to the older route while keeping a few minor tweaks to eliminate a hill or two and avoid the unpleasant poorly paved Hilda Avenue. For now, last year's route is shown.
Come for a good Advanced Urban Roller style workout with a few more hills. This is a longer version of the popular Maple ride that goes an additional 30 km out into the countryside and visits charming Kleinburg. We'll stop briefly in Kleinburg for coffee/snacks or to see the sights, then hop back on the bikes to get to lunch at Tim Hortons/Wendys.
There are some hills on this ride, but for the most part they are short, and the coffee stop in Kleinburg is right after the steep one so you can get a chance to recover if you need it. The hills are done with by the time we cross back over the 400 on the way to lunch.
Meet for a 10:00 am departure at the Finch Subway parking lot, NW corner of Yonge and Hendon Ave, one block north of Finch. If you are driving to the start please note that due to subway construction the parking lot cannot be accessed easily from Yonge. Go one street further west on Finch to Duplex and then up to Hendon. A right turn will bring you to the parking lot entrance.

If the ride is cancelled due to weather or other reasons, notice of the cancellation will be posted on the website around 8 am Sunday. Please check before leaving for the ride.
