Sunday Urban Roller - Kleinburg
Please note: You must register to participate on the ride. Under the Phase 3 Provincial guidelines we are permitted up to 100 participants, as unlikely as that seems. Registration is allowed until Saturday midnight.
We are accepting "guest rider" registrations for this event. Guest registrations are $10 payable via PayPal.
We are still under Covid-19 guidelines, so remember to bring and wear your mask in appropriate situations and maintain social distancing. Also, hand sanitizer
The Kleinburg ride has been cancelled, for three reasons. As of Friday afternoon only two people had signed up. Sunday's forecast isn't all that great as the rain event expected Saturday may extend into Sunday. And the ride leader re-aggravated his back lifting heavy bags of wet leaves for curbside pickup. Come for a good Advanced Urban Roller style workout while enjoying the turning leaves. This is a longer version of the popular Maple ride that goes an additional 30 km out into the countryside and visits charming Kleinburg. We'll stop briefly in Kleinburg for coffee/snacks or to see the sights, then hop back on the bikes to get to lunch at Tim Hortons/Wendys.
There are some hills on this ride, but for the most part they are short, and the coffee stop in Kleinburg is right after the steep one so you can get a chance to recover if you need it. The hills are done with by the time we cross back over the 400 on the way to lunch.
Meet for a 10:00 am departure at the Finch Subway parking lot, NW corner of Yonge and Hendon Ave, one block north of Finch.

If the ride is cancelled due to weather or other reasons, notice of the cancellation will be posted on the website around 8 am Sunday.
