Sunday Advanced Tourist: High Park Dystopia Century

High Park Dystopia Century

Riding from "utopian" High Park, at least that's how it's founder John Howard felt about it, we'll be touring the "dystopia" urban remains of the former industrial giant Steelco in Hamilton, before we head for the hills and then ride through Mississauga's suburban landscape. Two food stops: Coffee Culture Cafe & Eatery in Burlington, and then the Brown Dog Coffee Shoppe in Waterdown. The longest ride gets to have some great coffee at
Domestique-Café Cyclo Sportif, in Dundas

Of note, High Park has its Cherry Blossom blooming festival happening this weekend, so plan to arrive early if travelling by car. If there are lines, park on either Quebec or High Park avenues and bike the two kilometres to the starting point.
