On Monday we are proposing an informal meetup ride for Wednesday Wheelie riders in order to test out a route which starts close to the city. We are planning to use this route as a fall back option on days when the weather looks questionable, thereby avoiding a long lonely drive out to a potentially wet vacant parking lot in the country. We may also use it occasionally for informal meetup rides on weekdays other than Wednesday.
The ride this Monday could be as short as 50 km and as long as 93 km, depending on the weather and the wishes of the individual riders who show up. Among other things, the route has been designed with several turn back options and quite a few food and shelter options (especially on the first half).
If you are interested in participating on Monday, please register so that we have a sense of how many are likely to show up. Registration is in no way binding if you change your mind.
