Sunday Leisure Wheeler – Dim Sum Ride

Join us for Dim Sum in Markham. Other foods available. Ride skips Cummer Hill. I changed the route a bit this year, more bike trails. We will get on the Finch corridor bike trail at the corner of Bishop and Maxome and take it to Pineway before reconnecting with Cummer. And a few riders last year were uncomfortable with the intersection at McNicholl and Birchmount so we'll go through a quiet residential area and come out 1 light before Steeles on Birchmount. Or we can ride to Steeles through a laneway and walk our bikes 50 feet to Birchmount and ride 1 block on Birchmount from Steeles to Harvest Moon. On the return on the east Don parklands will reconnect with the Finch corridor bike trails and back to the start. Last Sunday I led a tour of Toronto for Great Canadian Bicycle Tours. We stopped for dim sum at T. & T. on Cherry St. None of the riders were Chinese so I couldn't resist pulling their chains. I said I would not order anything made with cat, dog, squirrel or raccoon. :):)
