The scheduled TTC subway closure for this weekend has been cancelled, so we will meet at Davisville Subway Station, street level, by the main entrance, near the south-west corner of Yonge and Davisville, for a walk to the historic Monarch Tavern, and ending at Christie Subway Station.
The walk will be about 10 to 11 Km. There will be a coffee break before the middle, and a washroom break later. There will be no separate short route, but there will be many opportunities for people to leave early, as we will never be more than about 1 Km from a subway station. The walk will be entirely on city streets, so footwear suitable to weather conditions would be appropriate.
The Monarch was mentioned in this article in The Toronto Star last week:
This is an official TBN event. Non-members are welcome to join us. They will be asked to sign the waiver form, but will not be charged the non-member fee.
