DESCRIPTION
This ride gets us quickly into the countryside from our starting point. Meet just outside the Aldershot GO train station on the south side. We'll stop at the Campbellville Conservation area, where we can eat the lunches that we have brought, then pass through Dundas for a recommended and highly-deserved stop at Detour Cafe, then pass through McMaster University and a short scenic stretch on the Grindstone Trail on our way back to the Aldershot GO station. Be sure to read the warning note on King Street in the Ride with GPS file.
For those arriving by train, the Lakeshore West Express GO train leaving Union Station at 9:03 (and Exhibition station at 9:12) is scheduled to arrive at Aldershot at 10:00 AM. When you exit the train (if arriving by train), take the passageway to the south platform, then proceed to the east end of the platform and from there to the south parking lot.
We are accepting "guest rider" registrations for this event. Guest registrations are $10 payable via PayPal.
If you have not registered for the ride, you may NOT join the ride.
