Meet at about 10:00 AM at Spadina Station, at street level, on the east side of Spadina, about 50 m north of Bloor. We will begin the walk at 10:10 sharp.

We will walk in a loop to Dundas Square and back to the start, going about 8 or 9 Km. We look at some points of interest along the way. The route will be entirely on city streets, so please wear shoes or boots appropriate for the weather. There will be a bathroom stop about 1 Km from the start and the finish, and another in the middle.

There will be a spot to get a coffee around the mid-point, and there are numerous places to get a snack or lunch on Bloor Street, east of Spadina, at the end of the walk.

There is a scheduled subway outage this weekend. There will be no subway service on Line 1 between Bloor-Yonge and York Mills stations on Saturday April 1, and Sunday, April 2, 2023, but please check https://www.ttc.ca/service-advisories/Service-Changes in case there are any changes.

Points of interest (more to be added later) and early exits along the way include:

  • 0.0 Km – Spadina Station (start of walk)
  • 0.8 Km – Sydney Smith Hall (washroom)
  • 3.8 Km – Dundas Square (washroom)
  • 4.1 Km – Balzac's Coffee (coffee)
  • 7.4 Km – Sydney Smith Hall (washroom)
  • 8.3 Km – Spadina Station (end of walk)
