A fabulous route which includes Clara Hughes' memorable training climb to get you "up to speed"! Explore the scenic, rolling back roads north west of Dundas. Lunch is in St George and an optional "après-ride" (location to be determined) in Dundas.
Start: 9:00am! Meet at the municipal parking lot at Hatt St & Memorial Sq in Dundas. Take Hwy 403 west towards Hamilton, exit onto Hwy 6 north, turn left at Hwy 5 (first major intersection), turn left off Hwy 5 at Sydenham St, follow Sydenham St into Dundas and after crossing King St (traffic lights), turn left into the parking lot (entrance just past Royal bank). NB: Allow extra travel time due to road closures for the annual Cactus Festival. The intersection of Sydenham St and King St may be closed. Detour along Park St to York St to Hatt St to get to the starting location in the municipal lot beside fire station 23. (posted Thurs. Aug. 16, 2018 - 9:58am)

CUES & MAPS (revised - remember to print a new map and cue sheet): Attention: There is a slight detour not noted on the cue sheets or maps. Fallsview Rd (the first turn after Clara's climb on Sydenham) is closed for construction. Use Harvest Rd (the next road north) to get to Ofield Rd. Same detour on the return. (posted Thurs.
