Be advised this is an Urban Roller class ride. It isn't a slow, or beginner ride. You should be able to cruise at about 20 km/h for 15 minutes at a stretch, and be comfortable riding grouped with other riders on city streets.

Starting from #1 Vetmar Avenue in Markham, this route goes north on Woodbine Ave., east on Bethseda Side Road, south on Ninth Line, then west on 19th Ave. back to the starting point. Most of this ride is on quiet, paved country roads, except for 300 meters on a gravel side shoulder.

Always bring a helmet & a spare inner tube. Also, depending upon the time of the year, it may be dark for part of this ride, or while you are riding home, so have working front & rear lights. It also may be quite chilly, so bring some warm clothes.
