Meet at about 10:00 AM at Finch Station in the Passenger Pick-up & Drop-off area (Kiss & Ride) at the north-west corner of Yonge and Hendon. We will begin the walk at 10:10 sharp.
We will walk in a loop of about 10 Km, going north into Thornhill where we will see a couple of historic and other points of interest. We will stop at Chocolada and Centrepoint Mall for a coffee and/or snack, then return to the start (Finch Station). The walk will be entirely on city streets, so please wear shoes or boots appropriate for the weather.
There is currently no scheduled subway outages for this date, but please check https://www.ttc.ca/service-advisories/subway-service#e=0 in case there are any changes.
Points of interest (preliminary) and early exits along the way include:
- 0.0 Km – Finch Station (start of walk)
- 1.5 Km – Goulding Park Community Centre (washrooms)
- 4.5 Km – John Arnold House, Gallanough Park (point of interest)
- 7.2 Km – Steeles and Hilda (early exit to TTC bus)
- 7.6 Km – Chocolada (coffee & pastries)
- 8.1 Km – Centrepoint Mall (washrooms, coffee/snack stop, early exit to TTC bus)
- 10.0 Km – Finch Station (end of walk, access to subway)

If you have not registered for the walk, you may NOT join the walk.
