Hockley Valley Provincial Nature Reserve is located within the rolling moraine landscapes of the Niagara Escarpment which was created by a long process of erosion.  This hike takes you through three loops in the Hockley Valley Nature Reserve.

Hockley Valley is very hilly with some rolling sections. A good cardio workout  Free parking in Bruce Trail lot located on Hockley Road east of the trailhead.

Distance:  13 km
Pace:       Moderate (~4 km/hr)
Terrain:     Moderate - some hills and/or poor footing.  Please make sure you bring appropriate footwear including icers or poles if required.

Directions:  Take Hwy 400 north to Hwy 9.  Take the exit and continue left along Hwy 9 West to Airport Rd.  Turn right on Airport Rd. and go north to Hockley Valley Rd. (flashing light at the bottom of the hill).  Turn left on to Hockley Valley Rd and continue to the Bruce Trail Parking Lot.  This is on the north side of Hockley Valley Rd between 3rd Line EHS and the 2nd Line EHS.  The trail head is just a little further to the west but we will meet in the parking lot.
