The lunch stop is at the picnic tables in Enniskillen. You can either bring your lunch, or purchase something at the adjacent Enniskillen General Store (website). The medium and long routes can also stop for refreshments at Tyrone Mills. Meet for a 10 am departure at Ashburn Park on the west side of Ashburn Road, 200 m north of the main intersection (map). There is a porta potty at the end of the parking lot. Enniskillen was the birth place of brothers Sam McLaughlin who operated the McLaughlin Motor Car Co. (which later became General Motors of Canada) and John James McLaughlin who founded the Canada Dry soft drinks business. Sadly, the Canada Dry brand no longer has any connection to Canada. It is owned by the Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Inc. out of Plano, Texas, a multinational corporation that also distributes 7 Up, A&W Root Beer, Clamato, Yoo-hoo, and countless other brands.
