A TOURIST PACE RIDE TO NIAGARA AND TAKE GO TRAIN BACK.

Date: Saturday, May 20.

Start: Burlington GO station south parking lot, 2101 Fairview St, Burlington.
Driving directions: Click here

Time: 12:00 noon. (Late start. No more 3 o'clock train available)
Distance: 100 km.
Ride leader: Jimmy Yeung

Return GO train to Burlington: Boarding at 20:10 pm arriving at 21:33 pm.

We will have 3 options for our riders.

1) THE GOOD: Along the lakefront and Niagara-On-The-Lake. This is the less challenging of the 3 with pancake flat terrain and smooth pavements of service roads and Niagara-On-The-Lake with plenty of bake shops, ice cream stands and fruit stands. You can virtually eat your way to Niagara Falls if you wish!

3) THE UGLY: More challenging but scenic route of the 3 routes. At 17 km,we will climb up to the top of Niagara Escarpment from Stoney Creek at  and then ride along the ridge on mostly Ridge Road. We will ride through Ball's Fall Conservation Area, Effingham Hill, along Welland River and Niagara River to Niagara Falls.
