NO DROP HIKE (CANCELLED) - Christie Lake, Hamilton - 6K

Meeting Place: to make sure everyone starts at the same trail entrance, we will gather at the gatehouse before moving to the parking lot close to the cycling entrance (red arrow).  Please arrive before 9:30am.

Round the Lake Trail: nice easy scenic trail through peaceful meadows and towering pine forests 

Route: No Drop Hike 50% Round the Christie Lake   

To make this an easy hike, we will do just 50% of the Round the Lake Trail. 3K stop at Christie Lake Dam, followed by the Heritage Walk to Darnley Grist Mill then turn around.

Note: the following map provided in the Conservation Park's website shows SOUTH pointing up

* Pace: leisurely depending on group member.  No rushing for sure!

* Participants must have proper gears including winter hiking poles with baskets and icers.   

* Winter trails are icy.  Participants without proper gears will not be allowed to join the event.  No refund will be processed in this situation.

* Arrive at starting point 30 min in advance to ensure departure at 10:30am.
