City Walk - West End Romp

Meet at about 10:00 am in front of the St. Clair West Subway Station on St. Clair Ave. West. We will begin the walk at 10:10 sharp.

Jenny will be leading the 13 km West End Romp which takes you through several notable areas in Toronto including Wychwood Park, Christie Pits, Little Italy, Kensington Market, parts of the University of Toronto's downtown campus, Philosopher's Walk and The Annex. The route is mostly on paved sidewalks and roads, with a couple of short sections on dirt/grass paths. There are also a number of conveniently located washroom breaks/facilities and early exits.

No scheduled subway outages have been posted yet, but please check https://www.ttc.ca/service-advisories/subway-service#e=0 in case there are any changes.

Points of interest  and early exits along the way include:

  • 0.0 Km – St Clair West Station/Loblaws (start of walk, washrooms)
  • 2.0 Km – Wychwood Barns (washroom stop)
  • 4.4 Km Christie Pits (washroom)
  • 4.9 Km Christie Station (early exit to subway)
  • 5.9 to 7.0 Km (early exit to College streetcar)
  • 8.2 Km – College and Spadina (early exit to streetcar)
  • 9.8 Km – early exit to Museum Station
  • 9.1 Km – Sidney Smith Hall (washrooms)
  • 13.0 Km – St Clair West Station/Loblaws (end of walk, washrooms)

We are accepting Guest registrations.

If you have not registered for the walk, you may NOT join the walk.

If you have registered but can't attend, log in, click on "Already registered", then cancel.

If the walk is cancelled due to weather or other reasons, notice of the cancellation will be posted on the website around 8 am on the day of the walk. Please check before leaving for the walk.

REMINDER: A mask and hand sanitizer are recommended.
