City Walk - Union Station to Coxwell Station

*** Please remember that the times change this weekend, and if you forget to change your clock, you will be an hour late for the start. ***

Meet at 10 AM in the Food Court in the new lower retail level of Union Station. Terry will lead us on a walk, partly along the Martin Goodman Trail, visiting the Distillery District and Corktown Common, then north on Coxwell Ave and Craven Rd to Danforth and Coxwell, where we will be able to find a resaurant or pub for lunch. 

Distance will be about 11 Km, with the walk ending at Coxwell Station. 

Rest stops and/or washroom breaks can occur at:

  • 0.0 Km - Union Station (coffee, washroom)
  • 3.7 Km - Distillery District (washroom)
  • 6.8 Km - Tim Hortons (coffee, washroom)
  • 8.5 Km - early exit to Queen streetcar & Coxwell bus
  • 10.8 Km - Coxwell & Danforth (restaurants, washroom)
  • 10.9 Km - Coxwell subway station

Note there is now scheduled subway closure this weekend which may affect your travel plans. There will be no subway service on Line 2 between Victoria Park and Kennedy stations on Sunday, November 3, 2019 for maintenance. Please check https://www.ttc.ca/Service_Advisories/Subway_closures/index.jsp for any other changes.

Non-members are welcome. They will be asked to sign the waiver form and will be charged the $5 non-member fee, either on-line in advance (Register here) or via paper form at the walk start.
