Let's beat the heat with routes that offer some shaded roads on the way to Port Hope. Revised routes for the popular Newcastle Navigator country cruise. Three beautiful ride options, which leave from Newcastle and head north-east to Port Hope for lunch. The long route is the hilliest as it goes furthest north; the medium/short routes are moderately hilly. After lunch, all routes are the same and return to Newcastle along the Lake Ontario shoreline. Lunch for all three routes will be at Memorial Park Bandshell on Augusta St in Port Hope. Bring your own lunch or grab some food on Walton St. Also, the Farmers Market is open until 1:00 PM - they have fruit and butter tarts!

Start: 50 Glass Ct, Newcastle, ON L1B 1M5. Meet at the Newcastle Public School parking lot on Glass Court in Newcastle. For driving directions, click here. N.B. go south to the end of the street where the school south parking lot is located. (Not the parking lot near the school playground.)
