Trip Presentation

Bike touring in Patagonian Chile and Argentina: Cycling to the “End of the world”

TBN members Narayana Reddy and Grahame Joy will share their experience cycling in the Patagonia region of Argentina and Chile.

Starting in El Calafate Argentina, their self-supported tour crossed 1000 km of plains, mountains, and ferry segments ending in Ushuaia on the island of Tierra del Fuego. The presentation  will cover the route, logistics, and challenges as well as touching on the Carretera Austral route.

The event is free and open to all TBN members and their guests. The event takes place at The Northern District Public Library, which is  conveniently located a three-minute walk north of the Eglinton Subway station. You can find free parking on the small streets west and north of the library. Please read parking signs before parking.

The presentation will take up 1 hour including a short Q and A, but participants are welcome to continue discussion afterward at the Duke of Kent Pub, which is across the road from the library.
