Meet in Dufferin Station, on the north-west corner of Bloor and Dufferin, at ground level, at about 10:00 AM. The walk will begin at 10:10 AM.
Ted will lead us in a not quite complete counterclockwise loop from the start. We'll start with a look at some nearby laneway homes, with info provided by Patsy. We will then cross the Wallace Street pedestrian bridge, go down Roncesvalles to Liberty Village, and then walk back up to Bloor and Shaw. We will end up at Christie Station, at about 11 Km.
There will be two washroom/coffee stops along the way. At the end we can go to a restaurant on Bloor, perhaps a Korean BBQ.
This is an end-to-end walk, and we will not be returning to the start. The route will be entirely on city streets or paved paths, so please wear shoes or boots appropriate for the weather. For most of the walk we will not be close to subway stations, but we will be crossing major streets with bus or streetcar service.
