Andrew Paterson, TBN Education Director, will be leading an an in person workshop regarding riding up hills.
The event will take place at the RC Harris water plant, at the east end of The Beach. The plant roads have a hill and no traffic.
The address is: 2701 Queen St E. Click here for Google maps for the site.
Look for Andrew - he will be on an orange-framed bike and wearing a TBN shirt.
Pass through the heavy metal gates and head down to the lake. We will meet at the parking lot near the lake.
The event will be cancelled in the case of heavy rain. If so, it will be posted on the TBN website more than 1 hour before the start of the event. Click here for weather forecast.
Bring you bike, helmet, lights, and if you have pedal clips consider whether you want to use them, since it can be difficult to click out if you get into trouble going up hill. Make sure your bike is well maintained and specifically that you are able to change gears and that you brakes are in good working order.
This education event is only open to TBN Members. Non-members may not register.
If you have not registered for the session, you may NOT join the session.
