The Caledon Trailway is a trail on a former railway. Several TBN routes already ride on portions of the Trailway. But how about riding it end to end? The south trailhead is near Terra Cotta; and the north trailhead is in Tottenham at the South Simcoe Railway Heritage on Mill St. This ride starts at Inglewood which is a popular start location for bike clubs and trail rides. First we go south towards Terra Cotta, then retrace back to Inglewood and we keep going to Palgrave for lunch at the Caledon Hills Brewing Company in a former church! After lunch it's onwards to Tottenham and then back to Inglewood. Total is 80 km.
The shorter 60 km route turns around 5 km before reaching the trailheads, for an almost end-to-end ride.
The combination route is a weave between roads and the Trailway. You will have hills to climb on the road portions. The route end-to-end is 93 km, with a 73 km option given in the cue sheet by turning around in Palgrave after lunch.
