Holiday Tourist: It's A 151 Years of Confederation!

  • Grenadier Cafe parking lot in High Park

It's Canada's 151st Birthday! May not be as flashy as Centennial Year's Expo 67, but our rides along the Lake will show off some of our country's natural beauty.

Two rides to choose from. The longest ride goes along the lake until Burlington, then we climb the Niagara Escarpment before we head back east. Interesting vistas of Hamilton other parts of the Escarpment. Lots of rural riding until we hit Mississauga.

The shortest ride goes along along the Lake, will then go through some of the towns that make up Mississauga. Lunch is at Cuchulainn's Irish Pub . Ride back through the residential bike lanes and then along some deserted industrial streets in Mississauga. Then, we ride through Etobicoke's Centennial Park, named for our country's 100th anniversary of Confederation. Eventually we end up in Bloor West Village and back to High Park.
