G2G Rail Trail
Saturday (Nov 11th) we will ride from Guelph to Goderich, stay overnight at a hotel, and then on Sunday ride back to Guelph. The routes have some suggested food/restaurant POIs. In Goderich the ride leaders are staying at Hotel Bedford (see picture below). We plan to ride about 20kph and finish the 140km one-way ride in under 10 hours in daylight. However, we recommend that you have a strong bike light in case we/you end up riding after sunset. Also bring post-ride clothes etc. The G2G Rail Trail is supposed to be hard packed gravel. So we recommend a gravel bike or a light mountain bike, but possibly even a road bike could be used.
