At about 10:00 AM, meet at North Toronto Memorial Community Centre, 200 Eglinton Ave West (about 500m west of Yonge and Eglinton, on the north side of Eglinton). The closest subway station is Eginton, on Line 1 (Yonge Line). Note that we will meet at the Community Centre, not the Arena (which is a bit farther north). We will meet near the front doors, about 50m north of Eglinton and Lascelles Blvd. The walk will begin at 10:10 sharp.
We will walk on in a south-easterly direction, staying on city streets, for about 10 Km and at end up at Chester Subway Station. We see a few interesting things along the way. At around the mid-point (5 Km) we will stop for a coffee and washroom break at a Tim Hortons. Near the end of the walk we will be on the Danforth, and can go to Kalyvia Restaurant or another eating establishment in the area.

Points of interest and early exits along the way include:
- 0.0 Km – Eglinton Station (note, this is not the meeting point for the walk, instead meet at North Toronto Community Centre, about 500 m west)
- 0.5 Km – North Toronto Community Centre (start of walk, washroom)
- 5.5 Km – Tim Hortons (coffee, washroom)
- 5.7 Km - Laird Ave, early exit to 56 Leaside bus (to Eglinton or Donlands station, 1/2 hour service)
- 6.7 Km - Overlea and Millwood, early exit to 100 Flemingdon Park bus (to Broadview Station, 10 minute service), or 25 Don Mills (to Pape or Don Mills Stations, 10 to 15 minute service), or 81 Thorncliff Park (to Pape Station, 10 minute service)
- 7.9 Km – East York Community Centre (washroom)
- 10.0 Km – Kalyvia Restaurant (lunch stop)
- 10.2 Km – Chester Station (end of walk)
