Day Trips - St. Catharines to Niagara Falls - Cancelled

 We will ride from St. Catharines VIA station along the paved roads to Port Dalhousie, and follow bike lanes through  St. Catharines to the Welland Canal trail. We will have lunch at Lock 3 where there is the Welland Canal musuem and overhead lock viewing platform. From there we will continue along the canal to the flight locks for a mild climb up the escaprment  where the ships climb hills. 

Using the bike ferry at Port Robinson to cross the canal and continue along the quiet country roads to Niagara Falls for dinner at Vinnie Zuchinnis . Departure from Niagara after dinner at 7:20 pm.

 Niagara Express leaves Union station at 9 am, and arrives St Catharines at 10 30 am,

If you are taking an westbound train to meet the Niagara Express at Union, it arrives at Union at 8 40 am. Terry is getting on at Oakville station, he will meet you on the train or at St Catharines Via station. See you there
