Next Thursday June 14th: Pizza, Pop & Cycling Info Session

Come to our special information session on cycling in Toronto, with speakers from the City of Toronto and from Toronto police. Topics will include how to make Toronto more friendly for cyclists, as well as tips from the police on safe cycling. The evening event takes place on Thursday, June 14th at the Northern District Library, just north of Yonge and Eglington. Please register ahead of time to reserve your spot. . 


Just days left for Cyclon early bird pricing

Early bird pricing expires on June 11 for Cyclon, TBN's flagship three-day out-of-town event. Ride quiet country roads past traditional Mennonite farms as we visit the Waterloo area from August 3-6, with comfortable accommodation on the Wilfred Laurier campus. See the website for more details.



Loan Cyclon your karoake machine

Cyclon organizers are looking to borrow a karaoke machine for Cyclon's Sunday night festivities. If you can help, please email RJ Petersen or Mireille Macia.

May Member of the month

Sandra McCrossan is TBN’s Member of the Month for May, nominated for her role as a ride leader and as a coordinator for both the Tuesday Ravine Rides and the weekend Leisure Wheelers ride. She won plaudits for her welcoming smile and upbeat attitude, as well as her help in training new ride leaders and sweeps. Sandra will receive a $50 gift certificate to Pedalinx, one of TBN's retail partners.

Focus on Fridays

We have two different Friday ride programs to usher in the weekend. This week's Friday Night Ride offers quays, sails, rivers and bridges from a Queen's Quay start, while the daytime Freedom Friday ride starts from King City and goes up into the Holland Marsh. More details of these and all other TBN rides are on the website.
